Terms of Service

EFFECTIVE 15 AUGUST 2026

THE SHORT VERSION

Onside Arena is an independent set of Fantasy Premier League analytics tools. It is informational — no betting, no wagering, no guarantees your rank improves. Free tools stay free; paid plans have a 7-day free trial and you can cancel any time. Be normal with the service and we will be normal with you.

1. Who we are, and what this is

These terms govern your use of onsidearena.com and its related apps and APIs (“Onside Arena”, “the service”, “we”). The service provides statistical analysis, projections and planning tools for Fantasy Premier League: expected-points models, squad ratings, captain picks, set-piece intel, an AI coach and similar features. By using the service you agree to these terms; if you do not agree, do not use the service.

Not affiliated. Onside Arena is independent. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the Premier League, the official Fantasy Premier League game, or any football club. Player, club and fixture data is drawn from publicly available sources, including the official public FPL API. All club names and player names are the property of their respective owners and are used for identification only.

2. Informational tools only — no gambling

Everything the service produces — projections, probabilities, ratings, recommendations — is statistical opinion, provided for information and entertainment. The service does not offer, facilitate or accept any form of betting or wagering, and nothing on the service is an inducement to gamble or financial advice. Model outputs are probabilistic and will be wrong regularly; we grade our record in public precisely so you can judge it. You are responsible for your own decisions, in FPL and elsewhere.

3. Accounts

You can use much of the service without an account. Creating one (via email magic link, or Google, Apple or Meta sign-in) requires a working email address or a supported sign-in provider. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping access to your sign-in email/provider secure. You must be at least 16 to create an account. We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms; you can delete your account at any time from your account page or by emailing us.

4. Acceptable use

Do not: (a) attempt to break, overload, probe or circumvent the service, its rate limits or its paywalls; (b) scrape or bulk-harvest the service beyond what our published data licence and llms.txt permit; (c) resell or white-label the service without written agreement; (d) post abusive, unlawful or infringing content in any community feature (e.g. league chat); (e) impersonate other people or misrepresent an affiliation with us. We may remove content and restrict access to protect the service and its users.

5. Subscriptions, trials and billing

Core tools are free. Paid plans (currently Pro and Pro+) unlock additional features, as described on the pricing page at the time you subscribe. Payments are processed by Stripe (or the app-store billing provider on mobile); your full card details never touch our servers.

Trial. New subscriptions start with a 7-day free trial. A payment method is required to start the trial, but we will not bill you until day 7. Cancel any time before day 7 and you owe nothing.

Current pricing. Under the pre-season sale running at the effective date above, annual Pro is £24.99/year and annual Pro+ is £59.95/year, locked in for the 12-month term. Prices, plans and promotional windows can change; the pricing page at the moment of purchase is authoritative.

Renewal and cancellation. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period at the then-current price for your plan. You can cancel any time from Settings → Subscription (one click, no retention flow); you keep access until the end of the paid period and then revert to Free. Refunds are handled in line with your statutory rights, including your rights under UK consumer law; where we offer refunds beyond that (e.g. pro-rated mid-term refunds) the pricing page describes them.

6. Our content and yours

The service — its code, models, design, text and generated outputs — is owned by Onside Arena or its licensors. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use it. Datasets we explicitly publish as open data are licensed as marked (CC BY 4.0). Content you submit (e.g. league chat messages, feedback) stays yours; you grant us a licence to host and display it as part of operating the service. Squad screenshots you upload are used only to read your team and are not published.

7. The service is provided “as is”

We work hard to keep the service accurate and available, but it is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied — including fitness for a particular purpose and accuracy of projections. Third-party data sources (including the FPL API) can lag, change or break, and features may be modified or withdrawn.

8. Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law (including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud). Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, lost data, or losses arising from your reliance on model output; and our total liability arising out of the service in any 12-month period is limited to the greater of £50 or the amount you paid us in that period.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service evolves. Material changes will be flagged on the site or by email to account holders, with the new effective date shown at the top of this page. Continuing to use the service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.

10. Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction — though if you are a consumer you keep any mandatory protections of the country you live in. Questions, complaints, or notices: [email protected] or the contact form.
