Use on your best premium asset when they play twice. A Haaland or Salah double is worth 30–40 points. Best when your captain has two easy fixtures.

🏆 Bench Boost (BB)
BEST FOR · DOUBLE GAMEWEEK

All 15 players score, including the bench. Worth using when you have 8+ DGW players across the full squad. Average BB return is +20 over a normal week.

🔄 Free Hit (FH)
BEST FOR · BLANK GAMEWEEK

Temporary squad for one week — your original team returns the following GW. Lets you field 15 players from non-blanking teams. Very powerful in mass-blank GWs.

🃏 Wildcard (WC)
BEST FOR · BEFORE A DGW

Use your Wildcard in the GW before a major double to build a DGW-heavy squad permanently. The TC or BB can then land on the freshly assembled team.

A blank gameweek (BGW) occurs when some teams do not have a fixture in a given FPL gameweek, often due to cup ties or rearranged matches. Owning players from blanking teams means scoring 0 points from those players that week.

Which chips should I use in double gameweeks?

The Triple Captain (TC) and Bench Boost (BB) chips are most effective in double gameweeks. TC trebles your captain's points across both fixtures. BB counts all 15 squad members — ideal if you own multiple DGW players on your bench. Free Hit (FH) is best saved for blank gameweeks to field 15 DGW players.
