Form is one signal — not a guarantee. High form reflects recent scoring returns but can be fixture-driven. Always cross-check upcoming fixtures, ownership trend and injury status before transferring. A player with form like Anderson (8.5) and a good run of fixtures is a stronger case than pure numbers alone.
How is FPL form calculated?
FPL form is a rolling average of total FPL points over the last 30 days, divided by the number of matches played in that period. It updates after every gameweek. A score above 6.0 is considered strong; above 8.0 is elite form.
