Leeds after five gameweeks
Leeds are fifth after Gameweek 5 and unbeaten: a 1-0 win at Nottingham Forest on the opening day, draws with Brentford, at Brighton and with Crystal Palace, and a 4-1 win over Newcastle. Seven scored, three conceded — the joint-fewest in the division with Everton.

Jayden Bogle — the best-value defender in the game
Jayden Bogle is the third-highest FPL scorer in the game after five gameweeks, behind only Pascal Groß and James Tarkowski, and costs £4.6m. Two goals and four clean sheets from right-back. Tarik Muharemović and James Justin have played every minute alongside him, and James Trafford every minute in goal.
Of the Leeds defenders, Bogle is the pick because his goals make his points independent of the clean sheet. Trafford at £5.0m is the keeper to pair with him.
The attack
Dominic Calvert-Lewin is first on penalties with two goals and an assist, and is the most-owned Leeds player. Joël Piroe is on loan at West Ham, which is why the penalties are his. Anton Stach takes the corners and direct free kicks and has a goal. Harry Wilson, who shared the set pieces, is out with a thigh injury and no return date.
